it comes down to game 3!
Here I am, hitting mid-week.....and yes, I'm coping. It's been a busy couple of days. When did I post last? I'm loosing track of where i am, but, oh, well... Del flew to his conference on Monday afternoon. Good thing he drove himself to the city for his flight, as Jayde had a ton of home ec homework to do. Actually, it became my homework. Oh, man! he's taking sewing now, and it was a bunch of questions on sewing basics, including stitches, fabrics, sewing machines, and sergers. I don't remember my home ec class being that in depth! So, we muddled through it! Tuesday-I took the boys to school, went to the credit union to set up our PAC account, yeah!!!, and then went to buy some salt and minerals for the cows. Yes, its very important for the cows to have salt and mineral to help baby to grow, and to drink lots of water. Probably there are other good reasons, but who cares, eh? Home just before lunch, so Onyx could come visit me while Andrea went to town. That little boy is such a doll. I love that child!! His beautiful blue eyes, and his great smile, are amazing! His vocabulary is changing daily. It was so funny-he would say thank you, and i'd say you're welcome. He'd then reply with thank you, me with you're welcome, or vice versa. Or when you say I love you, he says thank you. He makes me look forward to when my boys will have kids. (much further down the road!) Tuesday evening-Jayde reffed an Atom game @ 6, then Kyle practised right after. Home again. Wednesday morning, I had 4 cakes and 5 dz cookies baked by 830! Yes, I was quite proud of myself for not crawling back into bed. One of the girls that is running for carnival queen is having a bake sale this friday, and needs baking, so I thought I better contribute something. So, I baked today, did laundry, cleaned, and got ready to head to the rink. Jayde went to Trents after school today so he could go with him to hockey practice. I picked up Kyle and a couple of his teammates, to head out to his game three tonight. And.......... they lost, 3-2. So, finally, this roller coaster season has come to a close. This is the earliest ever, that Kyle's winter team is done for the season. What a relief in a sense. Yes, its disappointing for the kids, but they just seemed to lack energy tonight. So, now Kyle can freely go play for his spring hockey team. So off he goes on Saturday to the big city for practise!! Saturday is also the big day for selling our cows. Oh, oh! Jayde needs the computer for some research, so I'm logging off for tonight. Off to work tomorrow............
