Everyday life....

Ahhhhh, I'm rewarding myself right now by going on the internet. Yes, I'm having a productive day. I actually had the garden tilled by 830 am! Went to town, dropped the boys at a friends house to do yard work today, and I went to my parents house to try and do some more sorting/cleaning out of stuff. My dad and I concluded it was time to put an end to the boxes, so he wants to have a garage sale. That's right up his alley! So hopefully in 10 days, after his eye surgery, he can sit outside and try to pawn off the leftover special stuff. It would be so nice to have that taken care of! I got home at 1, had a quick lunch, and then I tackled my little space efficiency project. I was at auction yesterday, and purchased some dressers for Jayde, some glass shelving units for Del's collectibles, and a desk for the office. So, I've now completed the moving about. I'm trying to free up some space in the office. So cluttered! Oh, well, i think it's better. For now. Del & I also went to an auction on Saturday. Satisfied that little urge for antiques-purchased this really cool red lantern with red glass, two old washboards, and some cow bells-to ring at meal times. Should be good, right??? :-) Just have to find a way to hang those cow bells appropiately. The boys thought we bought them to put on the bulls. Not!!
It's drizzling again. Good thing, cuz I think it was getting dry. Actually, do you catch the sarcasm??? Our front yard was just getting to the point of being able to almost cut all the grass. Or weeds, or whatever its become.
Now if I could just think of something for supper. When I get on a cleaning roll, I don't like stopping for meal prep, but Its one of those things that just has to get done.
Went to Rog & Anita's last evening. They're holding up fairly well. As well as can be expected. Had a nice quiet evening with them, and my parents-they came as well.
I'm off to tackle another project, this time to combine two containers of toys into one. Gotta cut back on some of this stuff! My house is only made to hold a certain amount of stuff, and I think I'm over on the allotment!
Have a great summer evening!
