middle of march, already!

March 15-can you believe it??? Where is the time going? this month is half over, and i thought it just began!
I am on a stretch of day shifts. Today is day 2 of 4. So far so good! Can't discuss work on here-small community, confidentiality, and all that good stuff. But the stories!!! Imagine away!!

Hockey-well, that has been interesting! Kyle's team played game one of their series yesterday-best of 3. And they won, 3-0!! They have not won against that team all winter, and they did it!! I didn't see it, but apparently our goalie was spectacular! Way to go, Keenan! Jayde-his winter team played game 1 of their best of 3 series, and they played into double overtime, and lost. Haven't heard when game 2 will be played. So him and his buddy are playing on their regional team this weekend. They played yesterday, and lost 6-4. Today they play 3 hours away, and lucky Del gets to take them! Jayde was so excited last night; he scored the first goal of the game. Sounded like a lucky bounce, but he'll take it.

Calving is getting closer 2-3 weeks away, and those babies should start coming. Hopefully the weather warms up a bit.

My mom and dad-well, they're holding it together. 2 weeks left on the oral chemo. She went for her CT on Tuesday, and all CT and blood results will be reviewed and discussed on Mar 24.

Here's a glimpse into my youngest son's mind-it made me smile. Thursday evening, he asks me, are you going to be home after school tomorrow? I tell him, yes. He asks me again, and i reply yes. And then, he says, really?? By this time, I'm wondering, what??? So, I ask him, is that okay if I'm home after school? He says, yes, thats wonderful! I'm wondering what is going thru his mind, and I ask , is something wrong? He says, no, I just like having you home after school. AWWWWwwww, that cutie of mine. He gives me a big smile. I'm a pushover! He could have asked me for almost anything at that point. Its a reminder to me of even tho my boys are growing up and very independent, they still like having mom and dad around, even tho they don't admit it very easily. Love my family!!!!

Alright, I'm off to check my patients. Have a wonderful day!
