Yay! I'm home again this morning! Yesterday, I had almost all day at home. I had a massage in town in the morning, and then I did a bunch of 'farm stuff' pickups. You know a couple of things needed for the farm, can turn into quite the ordeal. "oh, we don't have this in stock;should we order it, or do you want this instead? Or, do you want to try someplace else?" And on it goes! I even got to go out for lunch with Del. This was so much fun! We hadn't done that in a long time! Finally, made it home for 130! Then, I actually got in a short walk, and then I was inside. The house. Not the truck!
I baked. Some wonderful cinnamon buns, poppy seed rolls, granola squares, and some cream puffs-that didn't puff. I even did laundry, and finally I cleaned the bathrooms. I'm sure you all wanted to know the nitty gritty! But it was exciting for me. Then to top a wonderful day-Andrea and Garvis stopped in for coffee, or iced tea, as it usually is at our house. That was a great finish to the day.
Michelle agreed to take Kyle and Blayze to the schools festival highlights concert last night, so I could finish up my stuff at home. I was so relieved when she agreed, cuz I really needed to do some of this at home. The boys' class had to do their orff piece, and their gr. 5-7 choir had to sing. I'm sure they did a wonderful job. Their class is so good at that kind of thing. Before you start thinking I'm such a stupid mother for not going to watch, I get to see it all tomorrow at the annual spring tea. I even get to go for 9 am, as the PAC is responsible for set up and preparing all the food for this event. So, there goes a day away......... :-)
Today, I think i'm gonna finish up a few more things at home, and then I think I'm going to the local green house. I love looking for flowers. All that color in the green house, is amazing!!
