Unbelievable!!

So, I survived last night at work! It felt like I would die of tiredness before it was over! But, it did end. And I drove home, hanging on with my eyes half open. I get out of my vehicle at home, and I hear a humming sound; like the four wheeler. I'm beside the house and I see the 4 wheeler idling beside the shop. Then Del comes out of the shop onto the ATV and drives to the house. I look at him, and think, hmmmm, he looks pretty spry and awake for having just gotten up! I ask him, where he's off to, and he replies he's been everywhere. You're not gonna believe it-THE **** STEERS GOT OUT AGAIN! Like will this never end??? Apparently Del had been having a great sleep when the phone rang @ 6 am. He's wondering what in the world, cuz it never rings at that time if I'm already at work. He answers and its a lady who lives down the road. Her husband had phoned her on his way to work, and told her to call us and let us know our cattle were out. So, Del was up in a flash, calling the boys! Apparently Kyle shot out of bed, and Jayde, well, he wasn't impressed. They had just gotten those animals back in when I got home! I'm so glad I was at work. So, the boys were wide awake to go to school today. They had their morning work out as well. So, it looked like the animals had wandered all night. It's not like they're racing around. It's like they're meandering around! We've never had a bunch like this. You may think the fence must be terrible, but its not! It's like they work at a spot in the fence, and get a couple boards off and out they go. Kyle was explaining to me tonight when we were on the road, how they must have gotten thru the fence. I think everyone will be quite relieved when Thursday is over, as we are planning to ship them on Thursday morning. I can hardly wait!
So, I slept for a few hours this morning, and then I had enough of the phone ringing, and I got up. Did some piddle stuff this afternoon, made supper, and headed to the city with Kyle. Picked up one of my nieces, dropped Kyle at the rink, and then Michelle and I went grocery shopping. And plant shopping. I had a great time with her. Remember what its like to be a student and shop for groceries. Or to just shop for 1 person. It's a little different when the family needs to be fed as well. She finished her last day of nursing today. Her grad is on Friday! Congratulations, Michelle. You're going to be an awesome nurse!
Now I'm back at work. 8 hour night. I can hardly wait for 7 am. I know I'll be ready to drop into bed when I get home. I'll be ready before I get home! :-) Guess what???! No hockey practice tomorrow! Only a meeting in the evening. I'm hoping it will be a quick PAC mtg, so I can go home and be lazy. Enjoy my bed!!!
Bought some plants tonight. Some perennials and a couple of annuals. Either Canadian Tire hadn't gotten alot of plants in, or they were picked out already. I'm hoping to get to the local greenhouse in the next couple of days. I love gardening at this time of year. Until I have to plant the beautiful plants out! I love shopping and dreaming about plants when they're in the greenhouse. They never seem to do as well when I get them home. I don't think I have inherited my mothers green thumb. Oh, well. I still enjoy them! It's amazing how quick the little shoots are coming up at home. Sunshine a little warm temperatures!
Enough! I hope the next time I post, I can post about the cattle behaving, the steers being shipped, Del seeding in the field, and the like....... Time will tell! We can only hope for now.
